I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 64 years old, pediatrician. In my practice of over 40 years treating children, I confirmed two indispensable actions for happiness: early contact with nature and breastfeeding for up to 2 years or more. Happiness is a byproduct of the various intelligences, which are also largely byproducts of prolonged breastfeeding. About the kids? Children are those humble and joyful angels who educate us for a few years and disappear forever into the adult world, leaving us orphans of our own children. Unknowingly, the photos we take of them become a classic! About the photography? The image overcomes the word because, when we speak, we move away from reality, if it exists at all. So, truth is just an individual mode of vision. Perhaps, this is the main cause of legal disputes, which is why it is so difficult to judge. Who dares to use the toga of infinite complexity? It is not the medicine, but photography that rejuvenates and overcomes death. The camera brings back the child buried in us, by ourselves and the system on which we depend, and it also scans life for eternity. About the photographers? They are poets who paint with light the celebration of life, wise to preserve the gaze of the child in his spontaneity, perseverance and humility. They know how to move between the loneliness of the soul, without panicking, and the wings of poetry. Photographers extract, translate and extol the intrinsic beauty of what is despised. They immobilize the time to perpetuate the miracle of life, capturing the thrill of a moment that will never come back. Thanks for reading these lines. My effort and my enclosure are the best I have to offer you! I think we somehow need to repay a little of what we have received and learned, before we are embraced by the merciless wings of supreme ignorance
